The Way of the Roses

The Way of the Roses is a stunning coast-to-coast cycle route that stretches 170 miles across some of England's most beautiful landscapes. Starting in the historic city of Lancaster on the west coast and finishing in the charming seaside town of Bridlington on the east coast, this route offers a perfect blend of scenic countryside, fascinating heritage, and a rewarding challenge for cyclists of all levels. Along the way, you'll pass through the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, the rolling hills of the Lune Valley, and quaint villages with plenty of opportunities to stop, explore, and enjoy a well-deserved break. As an avid cyclist the Way of the Roses promises an unforgettable journey through the heart of the English countryside.  Please click on the links below to read about my experience.
