This morning 🚴♀️🚴♀️🚴♀️ we were woken at 6 am by the church bells, a full 2 minutes of ringing with 6 loud clangs for the hour 🔔 it's a lovely sound.
Our home for the week is a traditional style sailing boat, she is called Moja Maya and was built by the Captain's Father 😊⛵️he started in 1996, It took him 10 years to build and is quite unique.
The trip from Brac, could only be described as choppy, the decision to move from Brac was apparently pondered over by the crew due to conditions, a couple of other boats stayed in the port. 🌊🌫️
The salty and not so sea dogs must have appeared to be made of sterner stuff and off we went 🥴🥴 . We couldn't dock at the arranged place due to the stormy conditions, so we carried on amid choppy waters. Our stomachs didn't appreciate the choppy conditions and a few of us were revisited by breakfast 🤢
We managed to moor at Korcula and were served lunch on board.
After lunch, we ventured onto dry land and did a short ride to the small beautiful town of Korcula. Famous for Marco Polo, more about Korcula later in the week. A quick coffee stop and we are heading to our next Island ready for tomorrow's ride. So sitting on deck eating M&M's to top up the sugar levels & trying rehydrate the order of the day.

Choppy sea but at least it is not raining. I have a friend on a cruise down the Danube and they haven’t been able to leave Vienna due to torrential rain Kocula looks like an interesting place
Doreen, I hope your friends manage to continue their cruise, the weather is apparently exceptional at the moment, the Croatian crew tell us this more like their winter 🥶
Well done ladies…absolutely no chance of getting me on that boat…I get sea sick in the bath!
