Thursday and we are staying put in Stari Grad. The thunderstorms over night & torrential rain this morning have meant all plans are cancelled & due to rough seas we are not going anywhere. A very gray, miserable, wet sort of day 😢 A few boats came and went but generally it seemed everyone was staying put and not going anywhere. We are in a large inland port, so although it is raining (and hasn't stopped) we are protected from the wind.
There is always a bright side to look at, we went for a walk into Stari Grad had a delicious gelato, followed by a glass of wine and watched the world go by (as you do) this evening there is a festival on, so we've booked a table and will enjoy whatever is going on 😊
Tomorrow we will apparently definitely be going to the next Island and cycling Stomorska to Maslinica. Thank you for reading, I'll leave you with a picture of some pomegranates growing at the side of the road 😊

How disappointing for you. The weather reports here say that storm Boris has moved towards Italy so maybe the weather where you are will improve. 🤞
Really hope the weather improves tomorrow. Mind you, you may not be in a fit state after the festival 🤣
