Solta Island - Last Day 😢

A glorious morning, we set off early sailing to Solta Island, calm, smooth seas and a lovely sunrise. This is the last cycle ride on this trip.

I would definitely recommend cycling & sailing through, or around Croatia, it's a beautiful place and there is so much to see. I would like to return to see some of the places we missed. 😊

We arrived on Solta Island in glorious sunshine & personally I think this is the best island we have visited. All the islands offer something different but for me this was the prettiest 🥰

The Olive 🫒 oil tasting was superb & of course you need to buy some, the garlic flavoured is imo the best 🧄

The mountains are spectacular & so much more imposing than you expect

Good friends are so important & I have been so lucky to share this experience with 2 lovely ladies.

E-bikes are an enabler and great for a trip like this 🚴‍♀️

The Adriatic is beautiful and swimming in it is a joy

Most of the olives 🫒 grown on the islands are used to make oil rather than for eating. Croatian 🇭🇷 wine is lovely and we have definitely tried various sorts this week.

We have found Croatian people to be really friendly and judging by the number of flags, they are a very proud people 🇭🇷😁

I always said there is no such thing as a stupid question, this week has been the exception and people have asked them, which we have found to be quite amusing. I could list them but that would be cruel 😂😂
