43 miles (69km) Ascent 1407 ft (429M)
England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ result, superb if a little nail biting but the team did it ๐ here's hoping the next match is a positive result!
It's our last today, a bit sad really, we've had such a great time, a real blast, I can highly recommend the Way of the Roses as a route & having it all arranged & not having to worry about accommodation, luggage, stopping points & lunch is a real bonus. Although I have eaten far to much this week, especially M&M's ๐๐ฑ.
So we leave Pocklington and head for Bridlington so that we can (if we want to) dip our front wheel in the North Sea ๐ (or maybe not). We went over the "Yorkshire Wolds" the northern most Chalk Stream in Europe ๐๐
Our coffee stop today was at a lovely place called Hutton Cranswick, a guy was just leaving on his Penny Farthing, truly amazing ๐คฉ
The Wolds are amazing and the wheat fields glowing golden in the sunshine. The route was flat and with the peloton of the 4 of us formed we hit 31.1 mph.
A total of 170.9 miles and 9000 ft (approx)
The whole trip has been absolutely amazing, I couldn't have asked for better company, Peak Tours organisation has been superb. The weather has been great, it rained just as we got to the end of the trip, so good timing ๐
There is so much more I could say about such an amazing experience, it's difficult to put into words. Thank you Rodney, Tracy & Lucy xx
thank you for reading and being on this journey with us. Some random photos, the pics of the chickens are for my OH who stays home to look after the cat ๐ whilst I'm away ๐

Thank you Kaz x
Enjoyed the blog and it's a realistic view of the trip. I did enjoy the trip myself and you guys were by far the quickest. You all glided past me on the hills a few times. Scenery very good and weather was kind. Yes I agree having all the organisation done makes an easier, more relaxing trip.
Ian, thank you for your comments and taking the time out to send them. This is the 3rd time I have been with Peak Tours and with 2 more trips booked I would highly recommend them
